ACTUATION2015 simultaneously addresses the development and validation of standardised, modular and pooled EMA for all airframe systems. To achieve this ambitious objective, ACTUATION2015 gathers a critical mass of expertise in a wide range of skills (Component suppliers, Actuator suppliers, Actuation system supplier, A/C manufacturers, and Certification Authorities) and, especially for standardisation, the main stakeholders in the field.
The ACTUATION2015 Consortium has been drawn up in this spirit and the consortium gathers 54 partners. Goodrich Actuation Systems SAS, a UTC Aerospace Systems Company is coordinating the project.
The consortium includes:
UNIS was established in May 1990. The company's major field of activity consists of technological process control, highly critical and uninterruptible process control and special avionics for small utility aircraft. With its approximately 150 employees and long-term experience in high technological industry and aerospace area, the UNIS company belongs to the leading aerospace companies in Middle and Eastern Europe in the area of small utility aircraft. UNIS is involved in the development of fuel pumps, engine control units, engine diagnostics and maintenance modules, multifunctional displays, on-board electric generators, highly critical distributed aviation systems and special avionics for civil aircraft.
UNIS, a.s. takes part in WP4.1, WP4.2 with focus on sensor and sensor-less control of BLDC motors, control algorithms, high temperature power electronics and health monitoring of BLDC motors. The main part in the ACTUATION2015 project is anomaly detection algorithms and their verification using mathematical models, evaluation of control algorithm's reaction on anomaly states, identification and definition of control and monitoring strategies and options, evaluation of selected control and monitoring control concepts with regard to sensor and sensor-less control algorithms.
